This SAAB 9000 is a great opportunity for a classic car enthusiast. It is ready to be used daily. You can also take it to the car show as it is looking absolutely great and is in a rare configuration.

You can also use it in a sporty way: the Maptun Stage 3 adds a few more horsepower to this 9000. The chassis is renewed and stiffer but is still very confortable. The brake system is renewed and can stop those ponies easily. The engine is healthy and cooling is no problem even in warm weather.

The Griffin edition was the high level configuration loaded with a lot of accessories, offering luxury features, distinctive styling, updated interiors and representing some of the luxury versions of the 9000.

Engine

The engine was removed from the car to ease the entire work. We replaced all the worn items with new parts. The rest was checked to ensure it works correctly.

• 2.3L 16V Turbo B234

• Maptun Stage 3 with 270hp

• Converted to BPC valve

• New waterpump, thermostat, coolant, coolant radiator, silicone hoses and clamps, coolant tank and sensors

• New air, vacuum and turbo silicone hoses + clamps

• New accessory belt and pulley

• All service parts new (engine oil + air, cabin air and fuel filter)

• New direct ignition cassette and sparkplugs

• Rebuilt and tested injectors

• New all engine sensors

• New polyurethane engine mounts all around

• Yellow zinc plated nuts and bolts

Gearbox

We serviced the gearbox: changed the oil, replaced the filter & added a new cooling radiator + lines.

Exhaust

With the stage 3, it is recommended to put a bigger exhaust system. We added a complet 2.5 inch exhaust system with a fast system that allows you to swap catalytic converter.

• Custom made adaptation to fit either the original catalyst or the Maptun high flow catalyst (both delivered with the car)

• New lambda sensor

Steering

Steering system got a big check with fresh new parts & fluid.

Brakes

The brake system has been completely renewed. It is now more than ready to stop those 270hp!

Wheels

Some restored to new conditions rims. It does make all the difference in the car appearance. And a quality set of new summer tires to grip to the road.

Drive train

As always we added our touch on the drive train of this car. Everything has been renewed or restored to new condition. This 9000 is now ready to either cruise on long highway or be sporty driven.

• New 4 wheel bearings, Bilstein B6 shock absorbers, Lesjofers lowering springs, Powerflex bushing all around, spring seats, strut bearing, strut reinforced bar, ball joints

• Sandblasted, primer and 2K black painted all axle, bars, control arms, steering knuckle

• Complete new drive axles

• Laser alignment

• Yellow zinc plated nuts and bolts

Body & exterior

Most of the things here are original. We renewed the wear items such as the lights, windshield, badges, wipers and restored some other parts.

Chassis
